This unique house is located in the exclusive seaside community of Mantoloking on New Jersey's barrier reef island -- the house is one block from the lapping shores of the Barnegat Bay and one short block from the sandy beaches of the Atlantic Ocean. Spend your days at a private guarded swimming beach (less than a 2-minute walk from the house), and your evenings entertaining or relaxing on your covered porch with views of the bay's colorful sunsets and bobbing sailboats.

The house's open-plan main living area (on the 2nd floor) takes advantage of the best water views and summer breezes. With a wall of windows and an inviting 25' covered porch, the outdoors is brought in. The living floor has a fully-equipped kitchen (with laundry), a family-sized dining area (the table has been known to seat over 12 people), a comfortable living room with plenty of seating and a half bath.

Upstairs is the master bedroom with queen-size bed, dressing area and private covered porch with views. Also on this floor is a sunny bedroom with twin beds, and a smaller bedroom with bunkbeds, plus a full bathroom.

On the ground floor is a relaxing sitting room plus two more guest bedrooms (one with twin beds, one with a queen bed) and a full bath with shower. The ground floor is accessed from a private door and is not connected internally to the main living area, affording welcome privacy to your guests or extended family.

The green lawns to the West and South of the house are edged with perennial gardens of rose, hydrangea, iris, black-eyed susan, lily of the valley, and a host of other blooms. The clothes line for your beach towels is to the North. On the East side of the house the fully-enclosed outdoor shower completes the picture - summer at it's best.

Weekly rentals are usually Saturday to Saturday, please inquire because we may be able to make exceptions for your dates.
